Delikates are medium to large, weighing between 150 and 200 grams. They have a typical spherical to slightly flattened shape. The skin is smooth with a basic yellow-green colour, which is covered by a deep red colour on most of the surface.

The flesh is juicy, creamy white in colour, with a harmonious sweet and sour taste. This characteristic makes Delikates particularly suitable for direct consumption.
