- The 'INKA' peach originates from Poland. This moderately early variety is characterized by its enormous fruits, pronounced aroma, and large fruit set. It can also be grown in higher elevations.
- The INKA peach is medium in stature, 3-4 metres tall, with an evenly spaced crown. It grows on the St. Julien A rootstock, which is a vegetatively propagated, medium-growing rootstock, The tree is about 35% smaller than the Myrobalan rootstock. It is also suitable for heavier soils.
- The 'INKA' peach blooms in spring, in the months of March to April, depending on specific climatic conditions. It is a self-pollinating variety.
- The fruits of the 'INKA' peach are very large, with an average weight of 200g, some even reaching 250g. They have a round shape and are predominantly yellow-orange, with some parts being red to reddish-orange. The flesh of the fruits is juicy and highly aromatic. It has a sweet taste with a subtle acidity. The flesh is orange in color. The pit separates easily from the flesh. The 'INKA' peaches ripen in early August.
